Gesticulation to recognize employees and appreciate them for their exemplary services is part of Qatar Steel’s culture. Acknowledging one such employee, MD & CEO Eng. Mohammed Bin Nasser Al-Hajri today deliberated appreciation for Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Sayed Barakat and conferred him with certificate of appreciation for his professional ethics and integrity towards his job role and responsibilities. Employee recognition is all about acknowledging the hard work and accomplishments of the individuals and teams within the organization. It’s really about creating an emotional connection with employees, and supporting the work employees does and staying authentic to company’s values.

The month of October is internationally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a worldwide annual campaign involving thousands of women to increase awareness of the disease. As part of our social responsibility and in our effort to cultivate a healthy and sustainable society, we proactively campaigned in Qatar Steel in co-operation with Health, Safety and Environment Department and Qatar Steel Medical Clinic.  It aimed at raising the awareness for the disease, and help other women to become aware of it and take action to prevent it. Let’s make this society free from the disease.

Qatar Steel conducted Communication Skills Program for its Qatari employees from 22nd to 23rd September 2019 at Grand Hyatt Hotel. The program provided participants with the practical tools and techniques required to enhance proficiency in business communication and develop a positive, polished, and professional image.
