Qatar Steel Company FZE was established in August 2003 to meet the growing demand for rebar and steel wire rods, both within the GCC and internationally. The company operates at Jebel Ali Free Zone site in the UAE. The Wire Rod Mill has a design capacity of 240,000 metric tons per annum, and the Advanced Rebar Mill has a design capacity of 300,000 metric tons per annum.

Qatar Metals Coating Company W.L.L. (Q-Coat) was established in 1990 as a joint venture between Qatar Steel and Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company (QIMC). Its mandate was to solve the problem posed by concrete reinforcement corrosion, and it achieved this mission via the development of a new product: Fusion-Bonded Epoxy Coating on Qatar Steel rebar products. The production capacity of the Q-Coat facility is 100,000 metric tons per annum.

SOLB STEEL Company is a Saudi Closed Joint Stock Company established in December 2008, to meet the growing steel demand of Saudi Arabia. The plant is located in Jazan, southern Saudi Arabia, consist of a 1.0 million metric ton per annum Steel Melt Shop (Billets) and 1.0 million metric ton per annum of Rolling Mill (Rebar). Qatar Steel owns 40.38% of SOLB STEEL Company.

Foulath is a Bahraini closed Joint Stock Company established in June 2008, a group of commercial/industrial companies that engaged in the manufacture of Iron Ore Pellets, Stainless Steel Flat Products, Light, Medium and Heavy Beams and Structural Steel Sections. Qatar Steel owns 25% of Foulath.
