Due to its commercial and strategic importance, Qatar Steel took part in the International Building and Construction Show, known as “The Big 5 Saudi – 2014”, held in Jeddah from 9 – 12th March, bringing together more than 500 exhibitors from over 35 countries around the world.

Qatar Steel, as a leader in Steel industry in the Arabian Gulf, is keen to participate in The Big 5, with the view to meet and communicate with representatives of leading companies in the local, regional and international markets, working in the field of building and constructions sector, which is currently witnessing an enormous and prosperous growth in the Arabian Gulf in general and in the State of Qatar in particular.

“The Big 5” is the largest building and constructions exhibition in the Middle East, attracting leading local, regional and world companies, to display their products and services, exploring new products, get updated with the developments and solutions in the constructions and building industry in the Arabian Gulf, rich in promising opportunities.

The event was a good platform for exhibitors to display their latest products and services that meet the requirements of building and constructions sector, exchange expertise and get insight into the state of art equipment and technology used in constructions and building. The show was also a suitable opportunity for some companies to make bargains and business partnerships with their counterparts.

Overall, the Big 5 Saudi was also a good chance for Qatar Steel to meet its local traders and customers, discuss with them the business relations and enhance its mutual cooperation in future.
