As part of its corporate social responsibility, and in support of community activities, PR & Communications team in Qatar Steel paid a visit to some organizations and institutions in the country, such as Dreema, General Authority for Minors Affairs, Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs and some other charitable organizations. The aim of the visit is to share them their celebrations of Garangaou traditional event, which is celebrated on the eve of 15th Ramadan every year. Garangaou bags with some nuts were distributed to children.

This initiative comes in the framework of reviving Qatar’s old customs and traditions that aim at making children happy and joyful. “Garangaou” is locally celebrated by children, wearing bright clothes, wandering in streets and singing special popular songs.

No doubt that Garangaou celebration is a big fun not only for children, but for parents as well.
