Qatar Steel organized its Annual Family Day for the Company’s employees and their families on 19 May. The 2011 edition of the annual event was held at Marah Land in Al Wakra Park.

Qatar Steel’s 33rd Annual Family Day was part of the Company’s activities aimed at enhancing ties and relationships among the staff of all divisions and departments, producing friendly surroundings filled with fun away from the formalities of work, and creating an environment that balances work with life and is marked by trust and cooperation between the officials and the employees.

The preparations for the event included the setting up of a special stage where some interesting performances, children gifts were presented and were fully enjoyed by the Company’s staff and their families.

The event also included several functions, games and other activities which impressed the audience and created surroundings of joy and happiness. The whole event had a very positive impact on rejuvenating the employees and bringing them together as friends and one large family.
