With a view to shed the light on job market requirements and to familiarize students and parents with the prospective career and academic paths available, Qatar Steel participated in the 6th Annual Career Fair for Universities & Work Sectors, organized by Al-Wakra Secondary School.
The inauguration ceremony was held under the auspices of Mr. Mohamed Ali M. Mandani Al-Emadi, principal of Wakra Secondary school for boys and Mr. Ahmed Albueinin, Head of Trustees Council. Attended the event were school faculty, representatives of some educational institutions and public and private organizations, as well as government organizations and diplomatic missions accredited to Qatar.
The event provides a good chance to Qatari high school students to meet with the employers and enquire about the job market requirements, and get insight into the academic and career options available.
Over 50 local and multinational organizations and institutions took part in the fair, including industrial companies in Qatar, educational institutions and various working sectors. The fair was visited by a great number of students from local school and universities as well.
Qatar Steel HC officials welcomed the students at its booth and briefed them about job opportunities and internship programs available. Officials also answered their queries on career prospects available in Qatar Steel.
Qatar Steel hopes, through its participation in this annual career fair, to attract potential talented and high performing students, and encourage them to join the company’s different departments in the future.
