As a symbol of Qatar Steel’s unwavering commitment and support to the Qatar National Vision (QNV) 2030 objectives, the Qatari steel giant proudly celebrated Qatar National Day in Al Reem Club (Mesaieed). The celebration was attended by MD & GM, top management of Qatar Steel and huge numbered employees working in plant and office.

The celebration is a humble gesture by Qatar Steel to express its support for the country and its wise leadership in the light of the ongoing geo-political impasse imposed on Qatar.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Ali bin Hassan Al Muraikhi, The Managing Director and General Manager of Qatar Steel expressed: “The celebration marks a very proud moment for all members of the Qatar Steel as we rejoice our unity in the midst of this geo-political development against Qatar and wish prosperity for our homeland. Established in 1978, Qatar Steel is proud of its Qatari heritage and legacy it carries. The least we can do is to support and show solidarity with our country and its government on the occasion of Qatar National Day.”

The image of Sheikh Tamim was displayed in LED screen along with QND and QS logo. It was more than just a celebration; an exhibition of great harmony that Qatar Steel and its employees have displayed in a unique manner.”

Mr. Muraikhi supplemented, ‘The initiative is considered as a moment of pride and honor as it embodies the unity of Qatar Steel’s top management and people working and their interlocking with the country’s wise leadership represented by the Emir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Through this celebration, the participants expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the wise leadership, the extent of love and sincerity that Qatari management feel towards their beloved homeland, and their willingness to spare no effort for the sake of Qatar’s progress, pride and status.’
